The handmade wooden design objects by Wood idea are created by Stephan Strasmann, and realized by him and other highly skilled experts.
Some objects are unique pieces, whether others are reproduced in more copies, like our wooden Christmas tree ALBERT, but they are all finished by hand in the Wood Idea design lab.
The wood used is purchased from suppliers which adapt a severe and strict policy of reforestation and when used, paint is waterbased and applied by immersion to reduce the impact on environment to zero.
In many cases Stephan is inspired by the shape of an old object in disuse, and he chooses it to realize one of his creations and brings it to a new life.
